Roulette is a table game in which the player places chips on a layout corresponding to the numbers of a spinning wheel. The wheel consists of a solid wooden disk slightly convex in shape. Before you begin betting, you must give the dealer your money by placing it on the table and asking for “color.” The dealer will then give you coloured roulette chips that have a value equal to the amount of your buy-in divided by the table’s minimum bet. Between spins, a player can ask the dealer for more coloured chips by putting their hands on the table and saying, “I would like some more color.”
