The 8th Inter-school Competition of Study Projects on Hong Kong History and Culture, organised by the Museum of History and the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture, has come to a successful conclusion. The winners were awarded at the Prize Presentation Ceremony today. The winning projects include “Epoch Chronicles”, by a group from Diocesan Girls’ School; and “Relationship between Hong Kong and China” by a group from Lui Cheung Kwong Lutheran College. The 8th competition is part of a wider programme to promote the importance of studying Hong Kong history and encouraging students to learn about our society through active research outside class. This year’s competition attracted more than 200 entries from secondary and tertiary schools in the city and its outlying areas.
